In 2014, we began JV (11u and 12u) and Varsity Travel (13u and 14u) programs for our girls. Our girls play in travel leagues and have to commit to at least (6) tournaments per year to properly prepare them for high school softball. In 2019, The Knights combined with the Bay Ridge Red Devils to offer tournament and travel teams in 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U.
With more facilities (Poly Bubble, Most Precious Blood and St. Bernadette gym, Bay Eighth fields) and gym time, our girls practice 3-4 time per week plus play about 4-6 games per week. They also commit to play Spring, Summer and Fall ball.
Our travel girls play about 75 games per year including tournaments. Our Spring, Summer and Fall seasons start in March and run until November. All our girls have the opportunity to practice windmill pitching with coach Rocca on Wednesdays at St. Bernadette gymnasium. We have a D1 coach for our catchers.
