Here they are : 2019 GKLL Fall Ball Champions. This 12u group of boys traveled weekly to Staten Island since September to compete and ultimately Win the championship against the formidable Mariners . The Knights went in defending their 2018 championship in the same Staten Island league . This years victory followed up an Impressive win in the Brooklyn Kiwanis Summer League . This group is looking forward to a trip to Cooperstown in 2020.

Congratulations to the boys who play so hard each and every game and represent the DHAA Knights organization by playing with class and respect for the game. Congratulations and thank you to the coaching staff for putting the time and effort over 70 games and countless practices in 2019.

Before Wagner: A four-year member of the varsity baseball program at Fort Hamilton High School in Brooklyn…after undergoing Tommy John surgery his sophomore season, produced a spectacular junior campaign, hitting 479 AVG, scoring 13 runs, driving in 15 more and posting a 1.319 OPS, earning team MVP honors… repeated as team MVP his senior season after hitting .395 with a 1.474 OPS, scoring 18 runs, slugging five home runs and driving in 16 runs in just 43 at-bats…Son of Angela and Joseph Castiglione… Has two older brothers, Joseph and Domenick, a sophomore on the College of Staten Island baseball team… Pursuing a degree in education at Wagner with the intention of becoming a physical education teacher.
